Abi peak is one of the perfect mountaineering training center like ice climbing experience and high altitude acclimatization for those who interested to climbing above 8000er peaks. Abi peak climbing itinerary has been carefully designed to allow for gradual ascend and proper acclimatization.

Nicknamed as Cholo and Kangchung, the peak is lofted to the height of 6097 meters from the sea level and is classified as group “A” climbing peak by Department of Tourism Nepal. Climbing trail passes through the spectacular geographical scenery that can easily and largely enchant your journey. The cultural display of Sherpa people of this region is something that you will not easily overlook.

Adventurous will be cherished with the astounding views of snow-capped peaks of Everest region that essentially include Everest, Cho Oyu, Lhotse, Makalu, Ama Dablam, Lhotse Shar, Nuptse etc. Best season for Abi Peak climbing on the months of March to May in spring and September to December autumn season.

Technically difficult abi peak is a rocky peak just South of Lobuche east peak; climbers have to cross the technical ridges to reach the top summit. The yak pastures, verdant meadows lush forests, swift rivers and hospitable people of the region will add excitement and fun to your travel.

Day 01: Welcome to Nepal. Upon your arrival at Nepal our representatives welcome and assist to transfer Hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu city tours and preparation for ABI peak climbing.

Day 03: Flight from Kathmandu to Lukla then trek to Phakding.

Day 04: Trek from Phadking to Namche Bazaar.

Day 05: Rest at Namche for Acclimatization hike Everest view point

Day 06: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Phortse.

Day 07: Trek from Phortse to Dole.

Day 08: Trek from Dole to Machermo.

Day 09: Trek from Machermo to Gokyo.

Day 10: Hiking to Gokyo Ri (5,333m) and back to Gokyo valley.

Day 11: Trek from Gokyo valley to Thangna (4950m).

Day 12: Trek from Thangna to Abi Peak Base Camp (5350m ).

Day 13: Trek from Abi Peak Base Camp to High Camp (5600m).

Day 14: Summit Mt. Abi Peak (6097m) and return to Base Camp.

Day 15: Trek from base camp to Dzonglha via Cho La Pass (5330m).

Day 16: Trek from Dzonglha to Pheriche.

Day 17: Trek from Pheriche to Tyangboche (3890m).

Day 18: Trek from Tyangboche to Namche Bazaar

Day 19: Trek from Namche to Lukla(2,800m).

Day 20: Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu, evening farewell dinner.
