Machhermo peak climbing is yet another astounding and challenging peak situated in Solukhumbu region along the Mahalangur range of Himalayas lies on the way to Gokyo Lakes trek. The climbing is most often straightforward making it an idyllic one to approach for an adventurous climbing experience. Machhermo peak climbing journey starts from Lukla following world famous EBC trail till Khumjung the Gokyo lake trail up to Machermo village to reach the Machermo peak base camp.
The trail is further enchanted with its exploratory aspect. As you ascend up the trail that is same as for Gokyo Lake trekking, you will have an opportunity to explore and scrutinize the primitive culture and tradition of Rai, Sherpa, and Chettri communities of the region. The trail encompasses beautiful yak pastures, dense and verdant forests, cascading waterfalls, remote valleys, and striking mountain views.
The tempting panorama of mountains such as the mighty Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Nuptse, Cho Oyu, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Kangtega, Kusum Khangaru, Kongde, Twache, Cholatse, Island peak and other appearing on the way makes every drop of sweat worthy. Camping at the base camp (5140 m) for acclimatization, you will be further ascending up to conquer the summit. The view from the summit is simply outstanding.
After crossing Machermo valley climbing team heading towards the Machhermo peak base camp and set up base camp about 5140 m for final summit attempt. Best season for Machermo peak climbing are March to May and September to December. The technical difficulty of the trail requires climber to have some climbing and trekking experience. Day 01: Welcome to Nepal, upon your arrival in Nepal our representative welcome and assists to transfer Hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu tours, preparation for Machhermo peak climbing.
Day 03: Flight from Kathmandu to Lukla Then trek to Phakding.
Day 04: Trek from Phadking to Namche Bazaar.
Day 05: Rest day at Namche Bazaar for Acclimatization.
Day 06: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Phortse.
Day 07: Trek from Phortse to Dole.
Day 08: Trek from Dole to Machermo.
Day 09: Trek from Machermo to Gokyo.
Day 10: Early morning hike to Gokyo-Ri 5340 m.and return to Gokyo.
Day 11: Trek from Gokyo to Machermo Base Camp.
Day 12: Trek to Machermo peak high camp I.
Day 13: Trek from Machermo high camp I. to high camp II.
Day 14: Summit Machermo peak then back to base camp.
Day 15: Trek from Machermo Base Camp to Machermo.
Day 16: Trek from Machermo to Dole.
Day 17: Trek from Dole to Khumjung.
Day 18: Trek from Khumjung to Monjo.
Day 19: Trek from Monjo to Lukla.
Day 20: Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu, evening farewell dinner.
