Tsum valley trekking is an opportunity to visit sacred Himalayan pilgrimage valley situated in northern part of Gorkha Nepal. Tsum valley trekking route was opened in October, 2007 for foreign trekkers. Tsum Valley is extremely rich in cultural assets; tsum valley is dotted with monasteries, Chortens and Mani walls. The longest mani walls are at Dzong and Phurpe. People of Tsum Valley still practice polyandry system. Tsum valley located in controlled area in this way special permit is required for trekking.
