Siklis trekking is a short trek of Annapurna region but Siklis trek is not very popular between trekkers, only few visitor visit Siklis trail each year. Siklis trek is decorated with picturesque Himalayan peaks, naturally beautiful landscape, flora and fauna, Gurung village’s etc. Siklis trek is one of the bird watching spot for bird lovers also. Siklis village lies above the Mardi Khola (1,981m), overlooking Annapurna IV to the north and Annapurna II and Lamjung himal to the east. Highlight of Siklis trek are panoramic views of mount Annapurna, Nilgiri, Dhaulagiri, Tukuche peak, Dhampus peak, Hiunchuli, Machhapuchhre, Gangapurna, Lamjung himal etc.
Annapurna siklis trek cuts through less traveled countryside of south of Annapurna II and Lamjung himal massif. Siklis trek is suitable for more inexperienced hikers or anyone who is interested enough to explore the countryside of Nepal. Siklis trek can be arranged in camping basic. Siklis area is not very far from Annapurna circuit trekking trails. Annpurna siklis trek is another spectacular short trek with pristine Mountain view, is located to the north east of Pokhara, at about 2000m elevations, in the shadow of Annapurna II and Lamjung himal.
Siklis is the largest Gurung settlement of Nepal, Trekkers can explore well-preserved example of traditional Gurung culture, life-style and people. For Siklis trekking it is not necessary any hiking and trekking experience, just normal walking experience is enough for Siklis trek. Best season for Siklis trek is February to May and August to December but Siklis trek can arrange in whole year.
